WESTERN CAPE
Q4: Reflecting on a successful year and looking ahead
Q4 is the time to reflect on all we’ve accomplished over the year. Thanks to our dedicated team, partners, and incredible Administration Department, we were able to finish strong, clearing a net total of R192,245,002.
With the new year ahead of us, we are confident that our talented team will help us reach even greater goals. In Q4, we also welcomed two new Advisory Partners, Dawie Rossouw, Antoinette Till, Marco van Zyl and Antoni van Zyl. All have extensive. All have extensive experience in the financial sector, making them excellent additions to the Warwick team!
Looking forward, we’re excited to launch two new Advisory Offices in Q1 2025, which will have a combined book value of R680 million.
In Q4 Warwick also sponsored a number of events, giving us the chance to connect with clients and strengthen relationships. We were proud to support the Constantia Bowls Club opening day on October 19th and the final Steenberg Golf Club event of the year on October 23rd. On November 16th, Warwick took part in the Sunningdale Bowls Club Tournament. These events were fantastic opportunities for networking and building new connections.
We also celebrated some special milestones within the team. In October, Connor Kilbride, Deon Loots, and Jill Seale all had birthdays, followed by Jake Pienaar in November and Michael Feinberg, who marked his 40th birthday. Christoff Erasmus also celebrated his birthday in November, and Shaun Smith closed out the year with his birthday in December.
A very special congratulations goes to Regional Manager, Michael Feinberg, who not only celebrated his milestone birthday, but also got down on one knee and proposed to his long-time love, Samantha. Congratulations to both on this wonderful new chapter in their lives!
Finally, we say a massive thank you to all for their contributions to making 2024 so successful! We are excited about the endless possibilities and opportunities the new year will bring. Here's to more success and growth in the months ahead!

KWAZULU-NATAL
As we wrap up a highly successful fourth quarter for 2024, we’re excited to take a moment to share an overview of our team’s incredible achievements, standout highlights, and key business developments across our region. The progress we've made is nothing short of thrilling!
Aligning partnerships and vision
A key win this quarter was the formation of an exciting partnership with Gabriel Holl and his dedicated team at Hollfin. We take this opportunity to celebrate every win in our growth trajectory and are pleased to expand our reach to now six advisory offices.
With the activation of Merger Partner, Jane Engelbrecht, Advisory Partner, Rowe Hooper and a robust pipeline of R660m to capitalise on for the upcoming quarter, we have established a solid foundation of business that will set the tone for a successful 2025.
Additionally, Q4 saw Jane Engelbrecht achieving her 25% transition assistance level. Congratulations to the teams in getting Jane this far! You’ve all worked incredibly hard and it’s so exciting to see your efforts pay off.
New staff appointments
Jared Williams joined team Clifford as CRS at the start of December where the to-do list was crazy! He must have enjoyed the ride because he’s still with us. Welcome to the team Jared, we’re so pleased to have you.
Personal goals and achievements
It's all about making progress and having a good time along the way. The team have each provided their personal, business and educational goals for the year. Thankfully, we have our committed RM to help keep us staying focused, staying flexible, and just doing our best.
Off to a great start, is our busy bee Noxolo Shezi on getting her learner’s licence . Wishing you all the best as you start this new journey—here’s to many smooth drives ahead!
The office year-end lunch is always a thrilling event where the air is filled with laughter
There was an undeniable energy in the room as everyone finally got to relax at our year-end luncheon. With raised spirits to the clinking of glasses around a beautifully decorated table, we shared not only good food but also memories, inside jokes, and plans for the year ahead.
Outlook for the next quarter
In conclusion, quarter four was marked by resilience and notable progress. The RM and DMA teams have been actively collaborating with several promising prospects in the professional network space, further building on the momentum gained in H1 2024.
The upcoming quarter is shaping up to be equally exciting, and we’re eager to share more positive updates from our dynamic team.
EASTERN CAPE AND GARDEN ROUTE
“It’s not how you start, but how you finish!” – this was very much applicable to our region in 2024. After a not so stellar start to the year, the teams finished strongly to end off Q4 with a figure of R43,663,340 in submitted business. Terminations were also kept to a minimum to finish the year much better than we started it. A massive thanks goes to our Knysna team for their concerted effort to place much needed international business in the final quarter.
Much progress was made to secure a Professional Network deal in the last quarter. The M&A division worked tirelessly on several prospects in the last three months of the year, but time ran out unfortunately. I am convinced, however, that we will be signing at least three deals in the first few weeks of 2025.
The Port Elizabeth branch had some major reshuffling throughout 2024, but are now settled and focussed for a great start to 2025. We have the correct people in the correct seats on the Warwick bus.
Mia Fourie indicated that she intends to start her studies to become a CRS in 2025. Marlene de Jager too is eager to become a fully-fledged CRO after having a dual role as an Assistant RAM/CRO.
In the Garden Route, Jennifer Rengecas arranged a lunch for her top clients at an upmarket venue overlooking the Knysna Lagoon. Professor Tim Hughes was the guest speaker and as always shared his wealth of knowledge in the accustomed eloquent manner.
The last quarter of the year saw us finishing off two Lifestyle Events for the year: the Warwick Mixed Pairs at Western Suburbs Bowling Club and Victoria Park Men’s Trips hosted by Victoria Park.
The South African Association of Retired People (SAARP) also hosted their annual Christmas Lunch and Eurika Louw joined the young at heart to share in a festive time.
We had three birthdays in the quarter:
6 November Margaret Botha
13 December Marissa Cambier
21 December Mia Fourie
In remembrance of Wikus Botha, my CRO who lost his fight against Leukaemia earlier in 2024, the Port Elizabeth teams decided to take part in the “Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer”. This race aims to fundraise for cancer research and treatment. Everyone had a memorable day out paying our respects to our late colleague and dear friend.
We ended off the year with our annual Christmas Function with a Mexican theme at Chingada’s. It was a culmination of hard work and dedication from all my staff, even though at times we found the going tough.
In closing I would like to thank each and everyone in the region who made Q4 a success and proudly wears the Warwick Wealth badge on their chest.
It is discipline, not talent that forges success!

Work in progress
The region has a solid plan in the pipeline for Q1 2025 for the continued growth of the Warwick presence in the Free State and a clear goal is set out to make 2025 another year to be proud off.
Q4 was all about getting business across the line and to finish 2024 on a high note. I am exceptionally grateful and proud of all staff and advisory partners who contributed to finishing the year strong.
For 2025 the goal remains the same, and with the bunch of honest and hardworking people that we have we can achieve and exceed our goals!
