Warwick Wealth regional reviews

WESTERN CAPE

The Western Cape entered 2026 with energy, focus and a shared commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients, Advisory Partners and the business. That momentum has carried us through a highly successful first half of the year.

A significant highlight for the region was our relocation to the beautiful Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate. Our new office provides a collaborative workspace that reflects the professionalism of our team while creating an inspiring environment from which to continue supporting our Advisory Partners and clients. The move marks an exciting new chapter for the Western Cape.

The region concluded Q2 with a net inflow of R246,384,543, bringing our total H1 net inflow to an outstanding R538,684,235. These results are a direct reflection of the commitment, resilience and teamwork demonstrated across our Specialist Teams, Advisory Partners and the wider Warwick family. Every success achieved is built on the collective efforts of individuals who consistently go above and beyond in delivering excellence.

Growing our Advisory footprint remained a key focus during H1, and we were delighted to successfully activate five new Advisory Partners: Jason Lubbe, Albertus Laas, Pierre Leibbrandt, Peet van Rensburg and Dirk Tredoux. Each brings valuable industry knowledge and experience, further strengthening our presence across the Western Cape while creating new opportunities for sustainable regional growth.

Behind every successful onboarding is an exceptional support team. We extend our sincere appreciation to our Take-On Team & Warwick Liaison teams for ensuring a seamless transition for each new Advisory Partner. Special recognition goes to Team Milford for supporting Jason Lubbe, Team Loots for assisting Niek van den Berg and Dirk Tredoux, Team Beunink for onboarding Pierre Leibbrandt, and our GT Teams for their invaluable support with Peet van Rensburg. Your professionalism, dedication and behind-the-scenes efforts continue to play a vital role in our success.

Our growth journey continued during Q2 with the signing of two additional Advisory partners, Wicus du Preez and Theunis Bester, together with new merger partner, Warren Kruger. We also welcomed merger partners Dave Bell, Tony Gray and Valerie Fouché during H1 and look forward to developing strong, long-term partnerships that will benefit both our clients and the business.

Beyond our business achievements, we remain committed to strengthening our presence within the communities we serve. Our involvement in the Lifestyle Network continues to grow through our sponsorship of the popular Warwick Wednesday events at Steenberg Golf Estate, the Steenberg Thursday Throwback Senior events, our continued support of the annual Westlake Triangular—where the prestigious Warwick Trophy is awarded each year—and our ongoing sponsorship of the Constantia Bowls Club. These partnerships continue to enhance the Warwick brand while fostering valuable relationships across the Western Cape.

Janke and Lydia wedding

The first half of the year also gave us many opportunities to celebrate as a team. We recognised several milestone birthdays and shared in the joy of Janke and Lydia Beunink's wedding in March. These moments remind us that our greatest strength lies not only in our business achievements, but also in the people who make them possible.

As we look ahead to the second half of 2026, our focus remains clear: to build on the momentum we have created, continue strengthening our partnerships, support our Advisory Partners with excellence and deliver sustainable growth across the Western Cape. With a strong foundation in place and an exceptional team driving our success, we look forward to another rewarding six months together.

Q2 2026 | Celebrating Our Journey Through the First Half of the Year

As we close out the second quarter of 2026, it's the perfect opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments, growth and memorable moments that have defined the first half of the year. Together, we have continued to build a strong, resilient and successful Gauteng region - one driven by teamwork, dedication and a shared commitment to excellence.

With strong support from our Regional Manager, our outstanding Wealth Specialists and Admin team, the region has continued to gain momentum and strengthen its position as a high-performing force within Warwick. Every achievement we celebrate is a direct result of the hard work and commitment of our people.

Growth Worth Celebrating

We are proud to announce that during Q2 alone, the Gauteng region submitted and cleared net business totalling an impressive R422,648,222.

This milestone reflects the collective efforts of an exceptional team that consistently goes above and beyond for both clients and colleagues. Every client conversation, meeting, follow-up, recommendation and administrative task contributed to this success.

Thank you to everyone who played a part. This achievement belongs to the entire Gauteng team!

A Big Win for Warwick's M&A and Take-On Teams

A special congratulations to Warwick's M&A and Take-On Teams for successfully securing partnerships with GB Jordaan, Johann Meyer, Alan Kenney and NBC Holdings, bringing a combined book value of R1 570 million into the Warwick network.

This achievement demonstrates the power of strong relationships, strategic collaboration and Warwick's reputation within the industry. Opportunities of this scale contribute meaningfully to our growth and reinforce the value of working together to achieve extraordinary outcomes.

Well done to everyone involved in making this a reality.

EASTERN CAPE AND GARDEN ROUTE

The region submitted R 31 127 140 in new AUM, resulting in achieving just over 80% of our quarterly commitment. It was always going to be a difficult quarter, but with two new Advisory deals signed in Q2, the next quarter forecast looks exponentially better.

The NBC deal was signed in May, bringing about a great opportunity for Warwick and NBC to enter into a national advisory business relationship. This will benefit both entities. Nontsi Kabane-Krwaxa is the NBC advisor in the region and will look to grow her investment book with the help of Team Roberts.

The M&A team worked tirelessly to ensure that we brought Ronette Neal-May into the Warwick fold. Ronette joins the region as an Advisory Partner, having spent the last decade at Standard Bank in the Jeffrey’s Bay area and she can’t wait to introduce her clients to the Warwick offering.

While we await the finalisation of the Professional Network deals, the region focussed on the Lifestyle Network to produce business. Carl Vermeulen broadened the Warwick Wealth footprint by hosting a Warwick Bowls event at the Hofmeyr Bowling Club. This has been largely an untapped part of the region and the first time we hosted an event in that part of the Karoo. The club was very appreciative of our sponsorship and we look forward to bringing on board several clients from this farming community.

In East London, we sponsored the Beacon Bay Warwick Classic, the largest Bowls club in the Border area, while in Port Elizabeth we sponsored the Warwick Classic at the Summerwood Bowling Club. Both events included several of our bigger clients which helps cement Warwick Wealth’s commitment to both bowls and our clients.

The Knysna office building has undergone significant reconstruction. During this time, our teams have been working out of the local Regis offices. They are currently replacing the roof on our building and we hope that the staff will be back in the new office by August.

A hearty congratulations to the following team members who had birthdays in Q2.

12 April              Florence

27 April              Rudi

3 May                 Toni

19 June              Mariza

To conclude, I would like to encourage and challenge my staff to build on the good groundwork of Q2 for Q3. Our contribution to the success of Q2 does not go unnoticed and the foundation has been laid for an excellent next quarter!

FREE STATE

While Q2 was not as successful as previous quarters, it was nonetheless a positive one for the Free State Region.

We achieved gross funds under management of almost R96 million, a testament to the strong relationships we continue to build with our clients and the opportunities created across the region.

We remain focused on maintaining this momentum as we work towards achieving even greater growth and success in the second half of the year.

Team and Individual Successes

A special congratulations to Advisory Partner Hennie Jonker and his team, Aldi de Klerk and Noeline Botha, for their notable contribution throughout the quarter.

Their collaborative effort played an important role in the region's achievements during the quarter.

Worth celebrating

Another year, another reason to celebrate!

Wishing a very happy birthday to all our colleagues who celebrated their special day during Q2. We hope the year ahead is filled with good health, happiness and continued success.

Visit of Mathew Pellatt, Head of Funds

We had the pleasure of welcoming Mathew Pellatt, Head of Funds, to the Free State Region during Q2. Mathew shared valuable insights into our fund performances, recent market developments and positive updates.

He also highlighted the industry recognition received by our research partners during the quarter, reinforcing the strength of our investment offering.

The session was insightful and engaging, providing the teams with valuable knowledge and perspectives to support meaningful conversations and informed investment decisions with our clients.

Visit of Cobus van Schalkwyk, Director of Client Care

Q2 also included a valuable visit from Cobus van Schalkwyk, Director of Client Care. The session focused on our ongoing client service initiatives, client engagement and the review of client portfolios. The discussions explored opportunities to further enhance the client experience and strengthen the quality of service we deliver. It was a productive engagement that reinforced our shared commitment to putting our clients first.

Looking ahead

As we look ahead to Q3, we are excited about the opportunities that lie before us.

With several promising initiatives in the pipeline, the Free State Region is well positioned to build on the momentum of the first half of the year. We remain committed to strengthening client relationships, enhancing our value proposition and delivering exceptional wealth management solutions.

Together, we look forward to embracing new opportunities, achieving meaningful growth and making the second half of 2026 our strongest yet!
