WESTERN CAPE
We entered the first quarter of the year with energy, focus and a great sense of optimism. A major highlight for Team WC was relocating to our new office space at the beautiful Constantia Uitsig Wine Estate. The move was seamless and we extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in making the transition such a smooth one. We are also incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work from such an inspiring environment.
Team WC closed Q1 on a strong note, achieving a net inflow of R292,299,691. This outstanding result is a reflection of the commitment and collaboration shown across our Specialist Team, Advisory Partners and the broader Warwick family. It highlights what can be achieved when teams work together toward a shared goal.
Growth remained a key theme throughout the quarter as we successfully onboarded three new Advisory Partners. We are pleased to welcome Jason Lubbe, Albertus Laas and Pierre Leibbrandt, all of whom bring extensive industry experience and strong, long-standing client relationships. Their addition strengthens our network and positions us well for future growth.
We would also like to recognise the exceptional efforts of our Warwick Liaison teams for ensuring a seamless onboarding process. A special thank you goes to Team Milford for supporting Jason Lubbe, Team Loots for assisting Niek Van Den Berg and Team Beunink for their work with Pierre Leibbrandt.
In addition, we were pleased to welcome new Merger Partner, Dave Bell, and look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring.
Our involvement in the Lifestyle Network continues to grow in 2026. We remain proud sponsors of the Warwick Wednesday events at Steenberg Golf Estate, while also expanding our presence through sponsorship of the Thursday Throwback Senior events. We continue to support the annual Westlake Triangular event, which now features the Warwick Trophy presented to the winning team each year.

On the celebration front, we extend happy birthday wishes to Gareth Utton on his milestone 40th birthday in January and to Paisley McDermott, who celebrated her birthday in February.
Janke and Lydia wedding
We also congratulate Janke and his wife, Lydia, who celebrated their wedding on 28 March. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and many wonderful memories together.
As we move into the next quarter, our focus remains on building momentum, strengthening partnerships and continuing to deliver meaningful growth.
“Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.”
GAUTENG
The Gauteng Region is proud to celebrate another impactful quarter, closing out on a high note thanks to strong teamwork, shared passion and a real buzz around the investment industry. The energy across the region has been contagious — and it’s setting us up nicely for what’s ahead!
On the numbers front, Gauteng cruised past the R300 million mark in gross business this quarter — a fantastic result and a clear sign that the momentum is alive and well! Our Professional Partnerships remain a cornerstone of our success, helping to keep the momentum going!
A standout moment this quarter was on 2 March, when we welcomed our very first Infiniti Partner to the business. A big Gauteng welcome to Advisor, Susan Naudé, and her Pretoria-based team — a first for the company and an exciting step forward in our growth journey!
We’ve also added some great new talent to the team, bringing fresh energy and expertise into the mix.
New Team Members:
Cailin Jonker, Lemeryn Olivier, Dineo Chochoe and Michael Watkins.
The region also welcomed its new Regional Manager, Craig Holmes. While new to Gauteng, Craig is no stranger to Warwick, having made the move from Port Elizabeth.
He’s spent the past few months settling into Melrose Arch and getting into the Johannesburg rhythm.
According to Craig, the Gauteng office reflects the city itself — fast-paced, full of energy and driven. What’s stood out most though, is the genuine support within the team, with people who truly have each other’s backs. That same spirit shines through in how we show up for our clients and partners every day.
To celebrate Craig’s first month in Gauteng, the team headed out to a local favourite, Parreirinha, a cosy Portuguese spot known for its quirky tradition of collecting ties. Naturally, the team got involved and added their own touch to the collection. Safe to say, Craig’s welcome was done in true Gauteng style!
The team also brought the fun with a recent social event that really dialled up the creativity. Six teams, each with their own colour theme, took on the challenge of creating a drink, main course and dessert. The result? A lively showcase of teamwork, flair and a whole lot of laughter!
And the good times didn’t stop there — thanks to Momentum Wealth, the team enjoyed an afternoon of ten-pin bowling. It was the perfect chance to unwind, connect and enjoy some friendly competition (with a few hidden bowling pros in the mix!).
As we head into Q2, the team remains energised and ready for what’s next. With strong momentum, a supportive culture and plenty of drive, Gauteng is well on track to keep raising the bar!
KWAZULU-NATAL
We are pleased to share the latest highlights and developments from the Durban region, including business growth, networking activities, team milestones and exciting future plans.
Business highlights
The year has started on a positive note for the Durban region, driven by strong contributions from our valued Advisory Partners, Elise van der Waal Financial Consultants CC and Britz Blore Financial Services. Their continued support has brought meaningful business opportunities into the region and strengthened our growing network.
One of our focuses has been on expanding the Appleton team’s client Will portfolio, while also maintaining regular engagement with our existing Will clients to ensure their needs continue to be met with care and professionalism.
Lifestyle network and events
Looking ahead, the team is eager to take advantage of upcoming networking opportunities to strengthen existing relationships, grow our client base and establish meaningful new connections within the industry and broader community.
Goals and skills development
The Durban team remains highly motivated to achieve progress not only in business, but also in personal and educational development. This commitment is continually inspired by the guidance and leadership of our focused and visionary Regional Manager, Conrad Clifford, whose encouragement drives the team to broaden their knowledge, sharpen their skills and strive for excellence in all they do.
New appointment
We are delighted to welcome Werner Jonk, who recently joined the Durban region as a full-time M&A Manager.
Werner has already proven to be a valuable addition to the team and we look forward to his continued contribution in growing the Warwick family, building strong professional relationships and supporting corporate growth. We wish him every success in his new role.

A special congratulations to Kirsty Woolmore, who recently celebrated her one-year anniversary with Warwick, marking a year of growth, dedication and positive contribution to the team.
We also extend our warmest congratulations to Noxolo Xulu on the birth of her beautiful baby girl in April. The team held a memorable baby shower filled with joy, laughter and plenty of pink décor.

“Great things in business are never done by one person; they’re done by a team of people.”- Steve Jobs
EASTERN CAPE AND GARDEN ROUTE
To say that the first quarter flew past is an understatement. After the normal indifferent start of January, the teams produced a steady flow of business with the Eastern Cape signing R52,468,730 of new business and the Garden Route with a respectable R35,197,278 in Q1. The region experienced a number of terminations and withdrawals, however, resulting in a less than stellar final number for the quarter. We have taken stock, regrouped and will come out firing in Q2.
In terms of Professional Network, the M&A team is working tirelessly along the coast with Pieter and Len having successful meetings in Mossel Bay, Jeffrey’s Bay and St Francis Bay. The Director of M&A along with the teams look forward to closing deals with most of these Financial Advisors to give the region a much-needed business flow injection.
While anticipating the Professional Network to add value to the region, our Lifestyle Network has been very active. We hosted the following events in the first quarter.
- The Warwick Wealth Kowie Bowling Club Pairs
- Victoria Park Bowling Club Novice Trips
- Gelvandale Bowling Club Mixed Fours
- The Woods Mixed Pairs
The Woods mixed pairs event
We also sponsored the annual Willowmore Agricultural Show. Despite the challenging backdrop of the recent foot-and-mouth disease outbreak, the Willowmore Agricultural Show on 12 and 13 February 2026 once again demonstrated the remarkable resilience and spirit of the Karoo farming community.
While attendance was understandably lower than in previous years, what stood out was the quality of engagement and the genuine appreciation from those who made the effort to attend. Farmers, families and exhibitors expressed heartfelt gratitude to Warwick Wealth for travelling such a considerable distance to support the event and for sponsoring a prize during such a difficult period for the agricultural sector.
In times of uncertainty, presence matters. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and attendees specifically thanked Warwick Wealth for standing alongside the community where support is most meaningful. Our involvement was seen not merely as sponsorship, but as a show of commitment to the long-term wellbeing of local farmers and their families.
Carl Vermeulen joined us at the start of the year as CRS to Team Oosthuizen. He brings with him 20 years of experience in the investment industry and being an avid bowler, adds a great amount of value to our Lifestyle Network. Craig Holmes took up the role of RM in Gauteng and although not lost to Warwick, he will certainly be missed in the Gqeberha office.
Two of my staff decided to make their relationships with their better halves more permanent. Jarred Roberts, while having his birthday in March, also tied the knot on the last day of February. We wish him and Demi all the best for the future. We are also very excited to announce that Mariza got engaged to Robert Steyn (dare I say eventually…). I am sure that these two wonderful and driven young people will build a great future together.
In closing, we can only improve our Q1 performance. The time is now for the teams to put up their hands and take ownership of your performance in the next quarter. Accountability of your performance will determine overall success.
FREE STATE
The Free State region kicked off 2026 on a strong footing, achieving net funds under management of R106.2 million for the first quarter. This solid performance sets a positive trajectory for the year ahead and reflects the team’s continued commitment to delivering value and growth for our clients.
This success is underpinned by the strength of the Free State team, comprising dedicated Wealth Specialists and Wealth Advisory teams, whose collaboration and client-focused approach continue to drive meaningful results across the region.

We are excited to have Shaun on board and look forward to the positive impact he will make within our team and for our clients.

We are proud to congratulate Petrus Coetzer on his appointment as Wealth Specialist. This milestone reflects his dedication and ongoing contribution to the business.
Congratulations Team Coetzer — Petrus Coetzer and his assistant, Dane Snyman. We wish them continued success as they grow from strength to strength!
Promotions, role changes and new appointments - Wealth Specialist, Willie Greyling
We are delighted to announce that Willie Greyling, a highly qualified and respected professional, has been appointed as a Wealth Specialist. Willie has been an Advisory Partner with Warwick since 2024 and his transition into this role marks an exciting step forward for both his career and the Free State region.

News worth celebrating
- Warwick-Sponsored Annual Vuurvliegie Bowls Event | Beaufort West
The annual Vuurvliegie Bowls Event, proudly sponsored by Warwick Wealth, took place in Beaufort West and proved to be a memorable day of sport and camaraderie.
The event brought together players and supporters from the Beaufort West Bowls Club, Vuurvliegie Akademie, and Warwick Wealth/KFA, with Christiaan Bekker representing the business. Two full bowls fields were in action, reflecting strong participation and a spirit of friendly competition throughout the day.
Warwick Wealth’s presence was well represented by Wiann van Zyl (Regional Manager) and his wife, Loubè, alongside Christiaan Bekker and his wife, Cornel, reinforcing the importance of building meaningful connections within the community.
Despite the intense 40-degree Beaufort West heat, the day was filled with laughter, teamwork and excellent bowls. It was an enjoyable and successful event, further strengthening relationships and showcasing Warwick’s ongoing commitment to community engagement.
- Visit of Mathew Pellatt, Head of Funds
Mathew recently visited the Free State region, where he shared valuable insights into the OIM Fund Houses’ holistic fund approach. His session provided the team with a deeper understanding of the underlying strategies adopted by the various research partners, as well as how these contribute to a well-balanced and effective investment framework.
The engagement was both informative and impactful, equipping the team with enhanced knowledge to better support clients through informed investment decisions.
We extend our sincere appreciation to every member of the Warwick Free State regional team for their hard work, commitment and consistent pursuit of excellence. It is this collective dedication that has enabled such a strong start to the year and continues to drive our momentum forward.
As we look ahead, we are excited about what lies in store for 2026. With several promising initiatives and opportunities in the pipeline, the region is well positioned to build on its current success. We remain focused on strengthening client relationships, enhancing our offering and delivering on our commitment to exceptional wealth management.
