Warwick Wealth regional reviews

WESTERN CAPE

The Western Cape team entered Q3 2025 with great energy and optimism, delivering another period of exceptional performance and growth. Despite challenging market conditions, the team achieved an impressive R184,843,226 in net AUM, reflecting our ongoing commitment to excellence and client-focused service.

A major highlight of the quarter was welcoming Leon Van Huyssteen as a new Advisory Partner. With almost 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Leon brings deep expertise and a loyal client base that values personal attention and trust. To ensure a smooth transition for his clients, Warwick’s Janke Beunink will provide dedicated support, ensuring they receive the same high standard of care that defines the Warwick experience. Leon’s appointment strengthens the team and enhances Warwick’s ability to deliver exceptional advisory services across the region.

The Warwick Lifestyle Network continued to thrive, hosting a series of well-received events that brought clients and partners together in a spirit of connection and enjoyment. July featured the Westlake WAGS Christmas in July and the Westlake 4Ball Stableford, followed by August’s Bergvliet Bowls Novice Event, and September’s Constantia Bowls Ladies and Men’s Events. Each event was a success, fostering the sense of community that lies at the heart of the Warwick brand.

The team also celebrated special milestones, with Candice Rinquest (WC RAM) marking her birthday on 5 July and Cheslyn Ingram (WS) on 29 September. These moments reflect the camaraderie and appreciation that continue to define the team’s culture.

As Q3 concludes, the Western Cape team looks ahead to an exciting and rewarding Q4, focused on maintaining momentum and closing out 2025 on a strong, positive note.

GAUTENG

Q3 was a game-changer! From reaching goals to welcoming new talent, this quarter had everything—growth, celebrations, and even a few curveballs to keep things interesting. We’re proud to share that we closed the quarter with a net of R200 million, an achievement that reflects the hard work and focus of our incredible team.

And because success attracts more success, we’re growing! More hands, more ideas, more energy—watch this space for what’s coming next.

Celebrations & New Beginnings

This quarter welcomed a few rounds of sweet treats as we celebrated birthdays with balloons, singing, gifts, and—of course—cake (because what’s success without a little sugar?). Happy birthday family and here’s to many more birthdays at Warwick!

  • 6 July – Jordan Rhoades
  • 4 August – Connie Mabaso
  • 18 August – Brendan Murray
  • 25 August – Mathew Pellatt

Congratulations to Brendan Murray!

A big shout-out to Brendan Murray, who officially stepped into his new role as Wealth Specialist this quarter. Brendan, your hard work and commitment have paid off, and we’re excited to see you thrive in this next chapter. Well done!

Janelle Joins JHB!

July brought big changes as Janelle Reddy, our Regional Administration Manager, moved to the Johannesburg office after an incredible 16-year run in Warwick KZN. Change can throw a few curve balls, but it also brings fresh energy—and we’re embracing it all the way.

Welcome, Anrico!

September saw another exciting addition: CFP Anrico Blignaut. Anrico joins us with a strong client base and a wealth of experience after spending nine years at Liberty and another three running his practice within the Momentum Consult Group. Under the guidance of our amazing leadership team, we know he’ll go from strength to strength. Here’s to your amazing new journey, Anrico. We wish you all the best.

And Another New Face – Hennie Swanepoel!

Just when you thought the excitement was over, Hennie Swanepoel joined us at the end of Q3. He officially kicks off in October, with Team Thom helping him settle in. Hennie, we’re thrilled to have you on board—welcome to the Warwick family.

Farewell, Mathew – Cape Town Awaits

We also said goodbye to Mathew Pellatt, who’s heading to Cape Town for a well-deserved new role. His farewell party was a mix of nostalgia and excitement as we celebrated his contributions and wished him all the best. Mathew, you’ll be missed—but we’ll be cheering you on from Joburg!

The Warwick Whistledown

Our cheeky internal newsletter, Warwick Whistledown, continues to keep everyone on their toes. With its anonymous author, no one is safe from a little humour! It’s our fun way to share knowledge, sprinkle in training reminders, and keep the vibe light while staying informed.

Looking Ahead to Q4

"Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success." – Henry Ford

The energy is high, and expectations are even higher as we head into Q4. We’re aiming for a strong finish and cannot wait for our end-of-year party with our advisory partners—a chance to relax, connect, and toast to everything we’ve achieved together. It’s going to be the perfect mix of celebration and Warwick spirit!

KWAZULU-NATAL

The third quarter presented a period of steady growth for our region. This plateau serves as a reminder of the importance of agility and innovation as we move into Q4. Our focus will be on identifying growth opportunities and reinforcing strategies that drive sustainable performance.

Strategic Milestone: Merger Agreement Signed

A major highlight of Q3 was the successful signing of a Merger Agreement with Elise van der Waal Financial Consultants, bringing an impressive AUM of R354 million into our portfolio. This strategic move positions us for enhanced productivity and sets the stage for closing off the year on a strong, positive note in Q4.

Conrad Clifford

We extend our sincere gratitude to our M&A Managers for their unwavering commitment and renewed hope in the KZN region. Their exceptional efforts in sourcing quality leads for prospective advisory and merger partners have been instrumental.

Lifestyle & Culture: Building Connections Beyond Work
In Q3, we continued to nurture our team culture through meaningful experiences. A standout moment was our visit to the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI). This initiative gave us insight into the incredible work NSRI does to save lives along our coastline. It was an inspiring experience that reinforced the value of teamwork, preparedness, and community service - principles that resonate strongly with our own organizational ethos.

Looking Ahead
As we step into Q4, we anticipate a highly productive and results-driven quarter, fuelled by the strategic gains of Q3 and the dedication of our teams. Harnessing this momentum, we expect to deliver exceptional outcomes and finish the year on a high note.

Wishing all teams across the regions continued success and a joyful festive season ahead!

EASTERN CAPE AND GARDEN ROUTE

The Region submitted R 27,703, 848 from the Eastern Cape and R 57,306,187 from the Garden Route for the last quarter.  Unfortunately, this was well below what was committed to, so a fair amount of catch-up is required in the last three months of the year.

The M&A team worked tirelessly throughout Q3 which resulted in signing Gerard Rogers as the latest Advisory Partner in Gqeberha. Gerard comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience and has a great relationship with his clients. He will be an asset to the region and appreciates the value that partnering with Warwick Wealth offers his clients.

We also continue to grow our Lifestyle Network, with us hosting the Summerwood Bowling Club’s Spring Day on the 1st September. The bowling clubs are always very appreciative of our support and sponsorship, with several pieces of referral business coming Warwick’s way in sponsored days like these.

Continuous development of our staff is always part of improving knowledge in this ever-changing financial environment. To this end, Mia Fourie continues to work towards her RE5 qualification with the view of becoming a CRS in Team Roberts.

Bowling Club’s Spring Day

The glue that holds everything together in the Knysna Office, Frezel van Rensburg, celebrated a birthday on the 8th August. Wishing you all the best for the year and thank you for what you do.

It is very evident that this year has been challenging with several highs and lows for the branches and for individual staff. I challenge my staff to persevere and not slowdown in their efforts to end the year on a high note. Your commitment to the company is noticed and appreciated.

In closing I would like to remind all my staff of the following:

Failure is success in progress- setbacks and failures are essential steps on the journey to achieving success!

FREE STATE

Business highlights

The Free State team delivered a strong performance in Quarter 3, achieving a Net AUM of R99.4 million. Supported by strong professional partnerships and cohesive teamwork, the region remains firmly on track for continued growth heading into the final quarter of the year.

Professional network developments

  • A key highlight this quarter was the signing of new Advisory Partner, Paul Bruwer, based in Upington and a highly valuable addition to our professional network. We are delighted to welcome Paul and his wife, Marlieta, to the Warwick family and look forward to building a strong and lasting partnership with them. With their deep roots in the Northern Cape community and a passion for delivering exceptional client service, Paul and Marlieta are well positioned to expand our reach and strengthen client relationships across the region. Their professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm embody the spirit of Warwick, and we are confident they will make a significant contribution to the growth and success of the Free State Region.
  • Hennie Jonker and his dedicated team — Aldi De Klerk and Noeline Botha — delivered an excellent performance this quarter, successfully transferring R56 million in assets during Q3. Hennie, based in Oubaai, continues to travel extensively to meet and support his clients, ensuring that relationships remain personal and service focused. Aldi, working from Cape Town, and Noeline, based in the Bloemfontein office, provide strong regional support and seamless coordination. Together, they demonstrate outstanding teamwork and commitment. We’re cheering you on as you work toward completing the remainder of your book and achieving even greater success in the months ahead!
  • Christiaan Bekker and his assistant, Wilma Snyman, reached their first transition assistance milestone this quarter — a great achievement that reflects their hard work and dedication. Beyond the office, Christiaan is preparing to take on the MUNGA, one of South Africa’s toughest endurance mountain bike races. The event takes place from 27 November to 2 December 2025, covering more than 1,000 km from Bloemfontein to Wellington through some of the country’s most demanding terrain. Warwick is proud to sponsor Christiaan in this extraordinary challenge, which perfectly reflects our shared values of endurance, resilience, and determination. His participation also highlights Warwick’s ongoing commitment to wellness, balance, and the pursuit of excellence — both professionally and personally. We’ll be cheering him on every step of the way and look forward to celebrating his success — on and off the bike!

Lifestyle network

Our Lifestyle Network continues to thrive, showcasing the strong connection between Warwick and the local community. Warwick proudly sponsors monthly events and marketing initiatives at the Bloemfontein Golf Club, fostering meaningful networking opportunities, friendly competition, and deeper relationships with clients and partners.

This September marked our fourth birthday, and what an incredible journey it’s been! From those early days to where we stand now, the success of the Free State team is a true testament to hard work, heart, and dedication.

Here’s to celebrating four fantastic years — and to many more filled with growth, success, and Spirit!

This momentum is guided by the hard work, leadership, and vision of our Regional Manager, Wiann van Zyl, whose unwavering commitment to excellence and determination to expand our footprint continue to inspire the entire team.

Our success is not only measured in numbers, but in the lasting impact we create through the dedication, professionalism, and integrity of every individual in the Free State team.
