Welcome back to all our staff, partners and stakeholders and best wishes for a successful and rewarding 2026.
As we reflect on the year that was, 2025 once again proved to be a record growth year for Orion Wealth Managers. This achievement is a direct result of the hard work, professionalism and unwavering commitment of our teams across the Spirit Invest group of companies, our continued dedication to serving our clients with excellence and the many new partners who chose to join the Orion family during the year. To each of you, thank you.
On a personal note, I am incredibly proud of how Spirit Invest has evolved over the past few years. From our people and culture to our systems, processes and overall client offering, Orion has never been in a stronger position as we enter a new year.
From a systems and infrastructure perspective, the progress has been remarkable. We now have an exceptional client statement and review ecosystem, full online signing capabilities, the recently launched Warwick client app and a new Merger and Advisory Partner online onboarding hub. This evolution places Orion at the forefront of our industry and reflects our commitment to making it easier and more efficient for both advisors and clients to engage with us.
From a client and investment perspective, significant capital has been reinvested into our asset management business. During 2025, we reduced fees across several funds, introduced new lower-fee classes, and, most importantly, continued to meaningfully enhance diversification across our investment offering.
Today, Orion Investment Managers offers six bespoke and largely uncorrelated investment capabilities through Accorn, Palmyra, Capita, InvestIn, Cadiz, and Starfunds.ai. Across our Wrap Fund and bespoke Personal Share Portfolio offerings, we now provide access to more than 30 unit trust and investment solutions, further complemented by the inclusion of ETFs and hedge funds where appropriate. In addition, we have concluded ten research partner agreements with best-of-breed independent local and international specialist asset managers. This transformation has been nothing short of a metamorphosis and positions us exceptionally well for the future. A special word of thanks must go to Adrian, Sidney and their teams for the immense work and leadership that has gone into building this investment platform.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are entering the year from a position of real strength. We currently have over R6 billion of pending business in the onboarding process, alongside several billions of rands in assets under discussion with financial advisors who are actively engaging with Orion about their long-term plans and the possibility of joining the Spirit Invest group of companies.
I am also personally very excited about the launch of Infiniti Wealth and Silverthorn Employee Benefits, under the guidance of Jason Lubbe. Both businesses are designed to drive meaningful innovation within the wealth and employee benefits industries and to deliver substantial value to financial advisors and their clients. So, exciting times lie ahead.
I look forward to seeing many of you over the coming weeks and wish you all a successful, healthy and fulfilling year ahead. Let’s make 2026 our best year yet.
Onwards and upwards!
