Dear Team Spirit,
I know we all look forward to reading about everyone’s news and developments across the Spirit Group every quarter, though this time I must commence my Chairman’s message by commemorating the tragic loss of our Assistant RAM in the Western Cape, Shelley Grey. Shelley exemplified everything that is good about Warwick and we will all miss her bubbly fun and dedicated professionalism. We all extend our condolences and heartfelt wishes to Shelley’s husband Jason and daughter, Sophia.
In business terms, Q3 was outstanding. The new business generation and national distribution achieved by our M&A and Take On departments has been exceptional over the last quarter and this looks to continue through the end of the year and into 2026. The group has invested a huge sum in terms of the M&A and Take On departments and this is now reflected in their achievement. This investment will continue into 2026 and beyond and these are two key areas within the group.

In loving memory of Shelley Grey
Our unique ‘advisory model’, as operated by OIM, utilising external asset management professionals is beginning to pay dividends and the performance of our funds and personal share portfolios have all improved considerably, we look forward to this continuing long into the future.
Earlier in 2025, OWM together with OIM, undertook a rigorous and extensive review of fund and client fees and I am delighted that these are now reflecting well and assisting the clients with further performance advantages.
In addition, Appleton continues to perform to its usual high standard and client satisfaction.
I am also pleased to report that FINCOs exceptional levels of service and delivery were maintained as ever and all projects are on track.
Our latest office location is on Uitsig Wine Farm and is currently being utilised by the Spirit Foundation, but after some additional changes it will from early 2026 be the home to Warwick Wealth Western Cape under the management of Regional Manager Michael Feinberg.
Within the Spirit Foundation a new Modus Operandi has been adopted in terms of education and this enables us to focus on not only ECD, but also primary school education within Bonnievale.
So, with these few key points highlighting what has been a highly successful quarter, all that remains is for me to say is, “enjoy your very own Spirit Insider” and let’s achieve the success we all seek in Q4.
I look forward to seeing and speaking to many of you before the end of year break, but in the meantime, please allow me to wish your families a very happy and safe festive season.

Ian Kilbride, Chairman and CEO
