At the time of writing the Springboks have been World Champions for 2,210 days. There are also only 23 working days left of 2025 for us as a Group, as another year flies by.
As the year draws to a close, and everyone is thinking about heading to their favourite holiday spot, the Finance Team goes in the opposite direction as the Group companies’ year-end is officially the 31st of December.
December being a very short month, puts added pressure to the team, but with our experience we will ensure everyone receives their “Holiday\Christmas” salary in time to ensure January feels extra-long!
Q3 has been a very busy and successful quarter, where most of our time was spent on preparing the 2026 budgets for the entire Group. At the time of writing all numbers have been consolidated and reconciled and ready to be presented to the board for sign off.
In terms of results, all group companies carried forward their good performance for the year, and I am happy to report that all budgeted numbers have been achieved.
A special congratulations goes to a very special member of this Finance team, as well as the group, Leo Sias, who has reached the milestone of five years with us. Congratulations Leo and thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
I can’t leave out the other valuable team members, Liezl, Johan and Oscar for their tireless hard work during 2025 and always assisting the relevant Group companies on all levels. The Finance team is the backbone and engine room of this Group, and the team always completes their tasks with a lot of diligence and competence. They are the Group’s ‘Bomb Squad’.
