As the M&A Division looks back on the past quarter, there’s a strong sense of pride and momentum in the air. What began as an ambitious start to the year has turned into a powerful stride forward — with the team achieving over R3.5 billion in signed deals so far in 2025.
Q3 brought plenty to celebrate — including the signing of our first Infiniti deal, a key milestone for the team, and with the first Silverthorn deal now on the horizon.
With that momentum behind us, the focus now turns to Q4 — and beyond — as the team aims to close out 2025 on a high note and set the stage for an even stronger 2026.
New Staff Appointments
While there were no new additions to the team, we did say goodbye to Werner Jonk, who left at the end of August to pursue a new career path in the IFA space. The team wishes him every success in his new venture.
At the same time, we’re proud to celebrate Ryan Gartner’s promotion to Research Analyst. He’ll be gathering research and data to connect our M&A Managers with new and exciting potential partners.
Training, Skills Development & Strategic Focus
This quarter, the team continued their training journey with Andy Preston and welcomed FI Consult as a new training partner.
The sessions have focused on first impressions, effective communication, and building stronger rapport with potential partners. The results are already showing, more quality meetings, stronger engagement, and a growing list of meaningful prospects.
Message from the DMA
